Silverlight

SilverlightWe strongly believe in the new technologies like Silverlight (Silverlight Showcases) and WPF. Silverlight is mostly used for browser application and WPF for desktop application.

The possibilities are endless. Now you can develop a full desktop application in a browser. Line of business applications (LOB) can now take advantages of a desktop application (ex. rich user interface) and a browser application (ex. no deployment). Many component vendors like Telerik are providing extended components.

Why Silverlight?

It’s a new technology, but based on .NET and the familiar integrated development environment "Microsoft Visual Studio". So the learning curve is much smaller. With Silverlight, it’s possible to create cross-browser compatible applications. Silverlight runs on Windows and Mac OS. There’s also a Linux implementation, called Moonlight.
